Summer staff members are campers’ primary caregivers during the week. You must have graduated high school by the start of summer camp. Priority hiring will go to applicants with at least one year of college, work experience, or a gap year out of high school.

All applicants must live in the United States.

In each camp session, you will be assigned a group of campers to whom you will supervise and provide emotional support, friendship, and guidance throughout the week. You will lead Bible Studies, stay with campers in the cabin, and lead various outdoor activities throughout the week. Staff must be at Camp Dickenson for training from May 26 to June 2 and from June 7 to June 19. Training weeks are mandatory. All staff members need to be at Camp by 2 pm on Sunday afternoons and should expect to work until 6 pm on Thursday evenings during the following weeks: June 21-25, July 5-9, July 12-16, July 19-23, July 26-30. Staff members can take one of these weeks off.
