Tier   Pricing

Camp Dickenson’s families come from a variety of situations and have differing abilities to pay for Camp. Because of this, we have instituted a voluntary three-tier pricing system. We offer a tier that reflects the true cost of camp for those who can pay the full cost of their child’s experience. We also offer two tiers of subsidized rates for those who need some financial assistance. Please take a moment to look at the description of each tier and choose the one that best fits your family’s financial situation. All campers will have the same experience regardless of which tier a family is able to pay.

The tier selected by the family will be kept confidential.
  • Tier 1: This is the subsidized rate to help those who need assistance with the camp fee. This rate is made possible by donors and contributions to the camping program.
  • Tier 2: This is the partially subsidized rate for those who have the ability to pay a little more but not the full cost of camp. This rate covers only the direct cost of a week at camp (staffing, food and program supplies.)
  • Tier 3: This is approximately the true cost of summer camp (Insurance, grounds and facility maintenance, administrative staff. We ask families to pay this rate if they have the financial means to do so.
You will find all three of these pricing options on each of the program listings in Ultracamp that offer tier pricing.

 Local   Church   Sponsorship

Many of our local churches provide financial assistance to help members send their children to camp. We encourage you to check with your local church before registering to see if financial help is available. Before you register, you will need to receive from your church the amount of the sponsorship and a sponsorship code.

 District   Discounts

Picture
All campers who attend churches in the New River District are eligible for a $100 discount. Beginning in 2020, those wishing to utilize this discount should speak to their pastors to receive the discount code. Please get your code BEFORE making the final payment on your registration.

Dickenson Sponsorships

Camp Dickenson has financial aid available to help families who may need assistance paying for camp. Funds are limited and distributed based on financial need. In order to support as many families as possible with the funds we have, families requesting more than $200 towards their registration will need to provide a reference. We strongly encourage families to reach out to their home church, or other local charitable organizations to inquire about support for their families.
